I can’t imagine why it took me this long to begin watching this.
Fate/Zero is absolutely lovely.

The first episode simply evoked much emotion from me. The cruelness of fate, the sadness of nothingness, the agonizing pain of being unable to protect the ones you love the most, everything was just heartbreakingly beautiful.

It has a certain darkness to it, this anime. It emits a vibe similar to that of Mirai Nikki. It features the god/s and their game, using humans as pawns and feeding off their misery. Like in Mirai Nikki, the participants are all after one thing, for different reasons. In the process, they lie to, scheme, form temporary alliances with, betray, and kill one other.

The number seven again, just like the A Song of Ice and Fire series, where there are seven bloody gods. (Sorry. Noting random details. :D )

I especially empathize with Kariya Matou, a man who becomes Zenkou’s sacrificial lamb in exchange for the ever-coveted immortality. The poor “failure” (as his own father refers to him as), volunteered himself, agreed to have the Crest worms devour his flesh, and win the thrice-damned Grail for the selfish old vampire, all to save Sakura Tohsaka.

I really am rooting for him. Though, I’d be fine with either Emiya Kiritsugu or Kotomine Kirei. I both pity and envy the latter. He doesn’t know what he wants and desperately seeks “pleasure.” At the same time, he is not prone to act selfishly or out of his desires as he doesn’t possesses such things.

Whoo! Fate/Zero….!

WHO’S THE LAST DRAGON NOW?

"He was no dragon. Fire cannot kill the dragon."

It was awesome, what Khal Drogo did. Clever, in fact.  :)

"A crown for king." It was fun to watch how Viserys the Impostor gets killed by his crown.

Daenerys Targaryen is the true dragon. She comes out of the flames unscathed.  :D

"Lovers’ quarrel?"
-Petyr Baelish

Joffrey and Sansa would actually make a lovely couple, and yes, maybe some children with beautiful blonde hair

Joffrey looks like the archetypal prince charming- blonde, handsome, and seemingly strong and kind. Okay, he kind of nailed the first two (I find Jack Gleeson cute). He definitely was not strong or kind.

Poor Sansa believed in her fantasies all too much. I’m glad that she had finally opened her eyes to the truth that the world is cruel. Stop being stupid, Sansa. Learn from Petyr Baelish, a man who was of low birth, who had nothing, and who worked very hard to get to where he is now. Somehow, work doesn’t sound right.   :D

Arya Stark is another character to love. She is adorable.

Not wanting to become a “lady,” she learns to fight using swords. She’s quite skilled at archery already. I like how she refuses to follow what society dictates. Being a girl won’t stop her from doing what she wants.

Oh, a lady must be proper. A lady must be graceful. A lady must be good at sewing. Screw that crap.

Her disposition is in stark contrast to that of her sister Sansa. Like Daenerys, she changes dramatically, as well. From innocent and almost harmless, to dangerous and deadly.

Oh dear. I’m starting to sound strangely feminist.  :)

Distrusting me is the wisest thing you’ve done since you climbed off your horse.
Petyr Baelish to Ned Stark

I absolutely love Daenerys Targaryen. In the beginning, she’s this innocent little princess, ignorant of things, and who only wants to go home. She has lived in constant fear of her brother Viserys, who keeps calling himself “the dragon.” She was to be married off to Khal Drogo, just so Viserys could get himself an army to take back the Iron Throne.

She eventually learns to fight back. She also begins to dominate in the bedroom. The revival of dragons make her stronger and even more determined to retrieve what is rightfully hers.

Go Khaleesi…!!! VALAR MORGHULIS.

Spent “Holy Week” watching Game of Thrones. It was awesome….although, some religious people would consider it sinful.   :D

Dragon vs Wolf vs Stag vs Lion…..lovely! I have yet to read the books. It’s Harry Potter all over again: movie/show before books.

I’d really love to see Daenerys Targaryen seize the iron throne. Go Khaleesi..!

Now, season 4.  :)

So he is not a Diary owner…big whoop?

He is strong and agile, physically and mentally. He did not need a diary to win the gamble he had with Hinata, who was holding both her father’s breeder diary, and Yukiteru’s random diary.

I just don’t like how he “loves” Yukiteru. Why him of all people..???  :D

"Don’t be ridiculous! I see no monster here! The only one here is a kind girl!"

Ugh..this moment of feels…

Eucliwood Hellscythe, the necromancer, the center of everything, is fragile and lonely. It’s good that Aikawa has been staying by her side.

How can anyone hate Eu…??????? She’s very kind and adorable. Is it because she takes others’ lives? It’s not like she likes her job. Death is a very painful experience for her, physically and emotionally. She nearly lost it when Yoruno called her “the harbinger of death.” She slapped Haruno when she told Aikawa to just die.

She gave life to Yoruno and Aikawa by making them zombies. Well, zombies aren’t exactly alive. I totally understand why Yoruno hated Eu. I could imagine living for eternity; you get sick of it, but you can’t do anything about it because you can’t die.

"Eu… Laugh when you want to laugh. I’ll take care of fate if something happens."

:D

Just finished watching Steins Gate. It was awesome…!!!This kind of brought back my crazy dream to be the first person to invent a functional time machine. At first, I found Okabe Rintarou a little annoying, with all his delusions, Norse mythology codenames, and all other idiosyncrasies. But as the series progressed, I started to feel bad for him.He had to watch Mayuri die again and again, up to the point where he becomes numb, and just waits for her to die before he timeleaps.  It would even be more painful as he realizes that to save Mayuri, he should retrieve his first D-mail, which would result in Kurisu’s death. He had to choose: (i) the beta world line, wherein Mayuri lives and SERN’s dystopia hasn’t occurred, but no Makise Kurisu; or (ii) the alpha world line, where Kurisu lives, but the world is a horrible place to live in. He had to choose what was best for humanity, and put aside his own happiness. It’s the YuzuruKanade feels all over again—- a world without the person you love the most.
